Hi CMP - I am using Blog Desk 2.8 and WordPress 2.6. My categories are ticked correctly after I upload. So don't know what might be happening with your uploads, but it works correctly for me.

Correct Use for Multiple Blogs?

I have 3 blogs that I upload to. BlogDesk puts all drafts and published posts from the 3 different sites all in the same storage folders. Is there any way to make the posts from the separate blogs get saved in their own "draft" and "published" folders?

Thanks for the quick answer!

I had not used that before because I did not previously have "more" or excerpts. I was looking for the whole post to be displayed on one page. The way BlogDesk does it is fine.

Problem with more Tag

I recently added the "more" tag to a few of my longer posts. Now when I use the "edit posts already published" in Blogdesk, the posts are only there until the more cut off point. The rest of the post is gone. Even if I use the more tag on the front page of my blog, Blogdesk shoul...

This follow up is a question, not a real critique. I love BlogDesk so far, but wonder about the spell checker. I have now used BlogDesk for a while and have noticed the difficulty the spell checker has with many common English words. This is in addition to the bug noted in my previous post. For now,...

Were you ever able to track down number 2 in my original post? It still does this every time I open a saved draft.

Bug in spell checker

I noticed that the spell checker in BlogDesk does not recognize apostrophe's if the text was not written in BlogDesk originally. For example I have some old posts originally written in Word that I pasted from Word into Notepad to remove the formatting, then pasted into BlogDesk. For example, the wor...

On #3. Ok, thanks ! On #2. Ok, let me know if you need more info if you don't see this behavior. Would have thought it would have brought up here before if other users saw it. On #1. Yes it does remember if I manually resize. Why did I not think of that. I will be fine resizing manually once and the...

New User - 3 Questions

I have the following 3 items I could not find the answer to. 1) I can not find the setting to have BD open full screen, or at least to have it remember the setting after I change it. Every time I open BD, it starts 1/2 screen and the first thing I have to do is maximize the program. How do I make BD...
