Ping option

Hi, just a small question. Is there a facility to ping sites upon publishing? Cause I couldn't find it anywhere.

No, BlogDesk won't ping. But WordPress (and probably other systems too) will ping if you post your article using BlogDesk.

I see. So basically my wordpress-based blog should ping automatically according to the option which I have set in its own preferences.
would this be affected by the way that I set up blogdesk to communicate with my blog? such as, for example, the API that I chose? In my case it's set to the Metaweblog API cause it was the default option...

Exactly.

The API does not make a difference.
