Not Posting on Site

Postby mmc154 » 27.05.2006 08:37

I've recently been seeing an issue that's quite strange. When using Blog Desk to post to my wordpress blog www.thewinningattitude.net
The post doesn't show on the site but shows in the dashboard under posts.
It seems I need to go in and edit the post to get it to show on the site? This never happened before. I am using the lastest version of blogdesk.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
Matthew

I guess you deactivated (probably by mistake) the Publish after Upload option for this post.

I double checked and the option (Publish after Upload) is checked and has been checked. Maybe it's something in Wordpress?
Any other suggestions would be great...
Thank you,
Matthew

Did you set the timestamp so that the post will show up in the future? Or maybe in the past so it's not visible on the main page?

I am seeing the same symptoms, posts are not being published

I also made sure the "publish after upload" option is checked.

I verified that the time/date stamp is correct.

Once I upload the post to Wordpress I have to log in to the web interface, edit the post, and save it before the post appears on the page.

I am using v2.6.

Is anybody else having these problems with Wordpress?

I am using version 2.6 as well - Wordpress Version 2.2

I have not had this issue happen to me.

I have a guest with a different user name and password but only having lower access level. All their posts are waiting approvial from the admin account.

Are you using the admin account to do the publish or an account with access equal to the admin level?

It seems that the problem was related to editing articles (instead of posting new articles) and their timestamps.
