Bulk upload of published posts?

Postby halinagold » 30.09.2007 20:00

Hi

While upgrading to Wordpress 2.3 I lost my entire database with hundreds of posts!
I've tried to import from my backup but at this moment cannot get that to work either.
Fortunately I've been publishing everything through Blogdesk so I have most if not all the published posts on file.
My question is: Is there any simple way to upload them to a new database? Or would I have to take one post at a time, copy it to a new post and then upload??

Creative working ideas are highly appreciated...

Thanks!

Halina

Yes, you have to do it manually. But there is no need to copy & paste the text to a new post - just open the old post and press Save, this will automatically create a new post that can be edited and uploaded.

Fortunately my web host found a way to restore my database. But it's still nice to know how to use the sent folder just in case. Thanks!
