Build 500 disables Comments even if chosen to enable them

Postby Haisook » 03.05.2007 15:40

I've installed the latest Blogdesk (build 500) but now it disables comments on posts published through it even though comments are enabled by default and I double-tick it to make sure it's enabled. Posting from any other editor doesn't cause this to happen.

Using WordPress.

Hmm.. so what's the problem?! *confused*

My guess: your blog is running on your own server using WordPress (the software) and you changed the blog properties from WordPress to WordPress.com.

The Hotfix (Build 500) only fixed a problem with blogs hosted on WordPress.com - and only for those blogs you should change the blog properties from WordPress to WordPress.com.

Thanks a lot!

It was set as WordPress.
I chose WordPress.com and everything now is as it should be.

I'm using the public (free) WordPress service.
