Johannes,
There is a bug with the templates. I created a custom template that looks like this:
<p> </p>
<p><small><strong>Source and Read More</strong></small>:<strong> </strong></p>
<p><font face="Verdana" size="2"><font color="red"><strong>"All the imaging news, all the time."</strong></font> <a href="http://www.photonewstoday.com"><font color="#006000"><strong>Photo News Today</strong></font></a></font><!--adsense#inline2--></p>
Note on the third line the code snippet: <strong> </strong>
I have tried this with both (ampersand pound 160 semi-colon) and and get the same results. I create the template and save it--making it my default. Then I create a blog entry and, during the composition, press F5 to look at the code or tweak something and notice the <strong> </strong> is missing. The template now looks like this:
<p> </p>
<p><small><strong>Source and Read More</strong></small>:</p>
<p><font face="Verdana" size="2"><font color="red"><strong>"All the imaging news, all the time."</strong></font> <a href="http://www.photonewstoday.com"><font color="#006000"><strong>Photo News Today</strong></font></a></font><!--adsense#inline2--></p>
I can see the same thing when I replace the template, or make a new one, and press F5 after saving it.
However, I can use the template just fine from entry to entry, as long as I don't look at the code with F5. If I do, BlogDesk loses that particular snippet. But the next entry is okay (as long as I don't press F5).
Best,
Dennis
