Tags-Generator Drops Tags

Postby dennishays » 28.05.2010 13:23

I can't see why this is happening or how it's triggered. It may be triggered by specific words.

I open the Tags-Generator (F8)
Select "WordPress-Tags" Radio Button
Type in "School, Camera, Aperture" (without quotes)
Click the "OK" button
Press F8 to reopen the Tags-Generator (so I can insert the same tags into the text.
Aperture and School are missing.

I can't reproduce this problem. What happens if you don't type your tags but if you select them in the list?

Those two words are not in my list, but I have an extensive list. That may be a clue.

Is there a limit as to how many words BlogDesk can acquire and, if so, new words are dropped?

Mmh, maybe :-) The tags a stored in [UserPath]\Extras\tags.txt - you can open this file with a text editor (like Notepad) and do some tests.

That seems to be the problem. I copied the tags.txt to another folder, restarted BlogDesk and have no problems.

I presume I'm going to have to clean that out every once in a while. Thanks.
